I have a growing passion for world missions. I full heartily believe that we are our Lord's hands and feet and with our hands and feet we should be touching the whole earth with His love. Jesus' last words on earth before descending to heaven were this "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore GO and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." (Matthew 28-18-20)
Do not think that you are not qualified to serve God's children around the world. "God doesn't call the qualified He qualifies the called." If you are a Christian and if you have a heart to love then you are equipped to serve as a missionary around the world, and even where you live, work and play. If you however cannot literately be His hands and feet, I encourage you to send those who can go. Also become local missionaries shining God's light to those around you. Let us not slander our Lord's name with our actions of judgement or gossip, instead let His name be praised through our actions of love, patience and acceptance.
